Perth City Christmas Lights

Dec 10, 2024

On Friday evening 6/12/24 we had a group of 16 friends who came along to our Friday night fun night, we picked everyone up from their homes, sang christmas songs in the bus & headed to Grilld in Victoria Park for dinner, we all love having burgers from Grilld, it was great having such a large group of us together & talking about our week & the fun times we have ahead of us.

We then ventured into Perth City to check out some Christmas lights. We visited St Georges Cathedral first, which had an amazing light display projected onto the church, along with music, you can watch the display which changes along with music. It was magical & the art displays were lovely. Lots of photos were taken! We then headed across the road to the council building which has changing colours over the building, in front on the gardens, were some Kangaroo themed displays. There were fairies and elves walking around, we had lots of photos taken & even had some fun with some glowing hula hoops! It was bustling with people and we all have a great time. A very special thing happened for us, we were all allowed, as a group, to go into the council building and see Santa!! We all had high fives and hellos & had a big group photo, it was so much fun & we were all so happy to be able to see him.

We then left the city and drove around looking at some other lights, our nights out are not complete without a sneaky ice cream!

Everyone had a fantastic night, and we cant wait for our next big Christmas event next week!
