Our Singapore Trip – October 2024

In October 4 of our friends, Kath and a Registered Nurse all jumped on a Singapore Airlines flight and flew to Singapore, to say it was a fantastic trip would be an understatement, we all had a blast, we visited all of the most magic places in Singapore. The Gardens by the bay, we attended in the day and the evening, the lights, flowers and scenes around were just incredible. We went to the Singapore Zoo, and saw – lions, tigers and bears, oh my, we even saw a Sloth! He was so cool. The Singapore zoo offered a open car ride throughout the zoo to save wary legs, and gave us the opportunity to have little breaks, the grandness of this zoo was amazing & being able to witness the animals in the open was definitely a highlight.

We also went to the Aquarium ,we never knew there was so many different species of jelly fish, we were in awe but the huge aquariums and how many different types of SeaLife there is out there. Our last day was just amazing, we went to Universal Studios, some of us went on some wild rides, talk about thrill seekers – we visited Jurassic Park & Shrek’s Kingdom, we bumped into Shrek & Fiona and got some great photos. We had such a fantastic day. Our 6 day extended weekend was just amazing, we ate some lovely food, explored some markets & immersed ourselves into the Singapore culture. It was one amazing trip!
